I have swapped in a HP30 and added 2" of cheapo lift to my 01 and now have a even 5" of lift.I started with a full traction 3" and added rough country spacers ,adj shackles, quick disco's and extended brake lines also Iron Man 4X4 tie rod ,EZ adj trackbar ,adj uca's and adj lca's .Also added a 1" transfer case drop ,2" drop pitman arm and tuff country 4 deg shims. It rides better than on the fixed arms, less harsh and steers fine with home done alignment ,some more adj and I will try for some flex pics.http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae168/weaselguys/100_5694.jpghttp://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae168/weaselguys/100_5698.jpghttp://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae168/weaselguys/100_5701.jpghttp://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae168/weaselguys/100_5702.jpg

That looks damn good.

We have similar setups. I just swapped in a HP30 two weeks ago and I run 4.5-5" lift too.

The paint was gloss black rustolem. Mine came out at a even 5" front and rear, now its time for the alignment.

XJ is looking very nice. I like the use of the fog light switch and the sway bar disco tie-ups... am going to do a very similar setup for my disco's once I get back home..

They were pretty easy to do, mounting the I - bolts was the hardest.

If you mean the panel repair I should let someone better than be do that I simply used wood blocks ,dowel and a rubber mallet . Even taking it easy I still managed to crack the paint once.
