With the roof line and tires it looks like the pick up version of the lower 40 concept for the Wrangler

I don't know about him, but I doubt it too. This was probably in the pipeline before Chrysler got sold. At best Fiat will continue a few of the vehicles for a few years before they make changes. Here's a few articles to substantiate that:

There is more but I think you get the idea, it'll take a while before we see what happens but with such a big take over concept vehicles are just to risky even though everyone here would probably like one. I hope thats wrong, but when a companies in trouble its the first things to go, build the sure things and once profitable maybe the other stuff. There was mention of maybe the Wrangler seeing a Fiat Diesel which could be a cool deal depending on what sort of torque it has and reliability (Fiat has been making diesels a LONG time though).

Nope, I just know Jeep's track record with concept vehicles. The Nukizer is built off a modified J8 chassis, with an AEV Brute bed and custom front grille and hood. The J8 is a production vehicle, just not in or for the USA. If they won't even sell us the current production vehicle, they certainly won't sell us a highly customized version of that vehicle.

Also, the 2.8L CRD motor used in the J8 (and the Nukizer) won't pass current US diesel emissions regulations. That's why the diesel Liberty (which used basically the same 2.8L motor) was killed off.

Other notable, extremely popular concepts that were never put into production: Dakar, Jeepster, Gladiator, and Rescue.
