Well of the two, maybe three things that Jeep did a absolutely horrible job in design was the headlights. It would be kind to say they are anemic at best.
I went from the stock H9(?) to the Sylvainia headlights. $20 each instead of $10 for the stock. It was better but still not what I wanted. I also replaced the factory fog light bulbs with the Sylvainia bulbs. With both sets of lights seeing the road was fine, but of course I replaced that front bumper and lost the fog lights in the process.
The first set of replacements I was looking at was the "Rectangular JeepĀ® Conversion Headlamps - SKU: RCH200-1" from www.roundeyes.com.

These accept the H4 bulbs and for $109 plus shipping you get two 60/55 watt H4 bulbs. Additional bulbs are available. A 100/55 watt bulb and a 130/90 watt bulb. Both are offroad only, but as I stated in a prior post... If those bastards can blind me with their blue lights I can blind mine with REAL lights.
Total price would be 109 + 24, or $134 to have either of the off road bulbs above.
Then there is the IPF solution.

The housings are $37.99 each. The bulbs I was looking at X4 Bulbs by IPF are $75.99 for a pair. The claim is the bulbs give off light equivlent to 155/195 watt bulbs, but only draw the equivalent of 60/80 watt bulbs.

This is a total of $37.99 x 2 + $75.99 or $151.90
So does anyone have any experience with replacement headlights? I would like to hear specifically about the IPF lights. What I'm hoping to do here is find out if it is worth the money BEFORE I buy it.
