Since Ron has posted good deals on straps and such, and since I did not buy one, I thought I would help him out a little. Post up your gear and why you have it.

My primary piece of recovery gear is my Warn winch. I had a Mile Marker that quit on me when I needed it. So I bit the bullet and bought the Warn even though expensive. Here it is on my custom bumper.

But a winch needs accessories. Kind of like women's fashion :rotfl2:

So here is my bag of tricks.

Included is a clevis and receptacle for a class II hitch for a rear recovery point. A 20" and 30" tow strap, a 20" recovery strap with short chains on the ends. This is so I can use them on a vehicle without recovery points. A tree strap and snatch block. The winch controls also hang out in the bag. There is another clevis and tow point on the front bumper that the winch cable hooks into. The bag also carries the air hose not shown.

I have the same stuff that you have plus a HiLift jack. None of my straps have hooks though just several extra clevis' to link them if needed. I still have a MileMarker winch on the XJ, but bought a Smittybilt to go on my MJ when I complete the bumper.

Ok well no pictures but I carry 6 to 8 clevises, two straps a tree strap, Highlift w/ jackmate and axe/ shovel ,8k winch/w snatch block or two , spare u joints and enough tool to get most anything done .I also have a CB and another radio. I concider these recovery tools also.Most importantly I never wheel alone and always let someone know my destination and expected return time!!!
