So I have 4 WJ coil springs I am looking to sell. I was curious to know if anyone had shipped coil springs before and if so how and with who? Cost?

I was thinking of wrapping them in bubble wrap and hoping to get USPS or UPS to ship them that way.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

UPS will not ship them that way. You will have to put them in a box and tape it shut. Pack them well.

That is my recommendation as well. Bubble wrap and then a cardboard box and some reinforced shipping tape. I have not shipped any coils but I have received some leaf springs with just a label on them from FedEx.

i was just going to send some coils out to you acually and i think i was going to do usps and you just go to their web site and put in what size box you need and the weight and it tells you how much it would be from your zip code to the buyers zip code. like the ones i was going to send you from utah it was only like $12 bucks or somthing.

Well I ended up selling 4 coil springs and 4 shocks. I put everything in one box and it was 67lbs. I shipped it through USPS for $70. The coil springs by themselves were only like $35 to ship, but shocks are quiet heavy it turns out. This was from WY to NY.
