I was bored yesterday, waiting for the paint to dry on my switch box, so I started looking under my Jeep.

I was laying there and looking at stuff and I looked at my front brake line. The Rough Country 4.5" Lift kit came with drop down brake line brackets. I have been wanting to put on some sway bar disconnects, but I wondered if the few extra inches the drop brackets gave me would be enough.

Just looking at it I'm wondering if it is even enough with the sway bar connected!!!

Have I missed a basic brake line truth on off road vehicles?

Conventional wisdom says yes. But I contend it is wise to be skeptical. What I would do is disconnect the sway bar and allow the suspension to drop to the end of the shock travel and examine it then. If they look stretched, then get some longer ones and replace them.
