something like a cold air box

well in a quest to keep my open airfilter clean and to try to get some better gas mileage i made a cold air box

i cut this up

and i made a peace to put in the front to keep water out when im off road but i didnt get a pic of it but it comes out and goes in easy adn it sits in the cold air box when not in use :thumbsup:

looks like you need to clean the filter. then put it back it to stay clean. looks good.

if it gets wet a have a piece to put in front of it it should block most of the water ( i hope :eek:)
