well i got my 95 xj about 2 years ago as a stocka ..its a 95 jap import rhd..made in the usa.. about 190ks on it..so far i have put a 3" skyjacker lift, arb front bar, snorkel, tow hooks , after market steering damper, discos , 31" muddies..its on its 2ND trans, plus had to put new windscreens front and back, snapped the engine bolts in the engine, was fun to fix, and replaced all seals plus wheel bearings front and back, ....so anyway I'm now fitting 33s on my little lift , flares are off tyres fitted ..will do the trim tomorrow..and am putting tj flares cut down on ..its be a busy day..am doing all this at my mates 4wd shop so that helps plus hes a jeepa..here's a few pics of today's process... http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr52/cantab27/Image0082.jpg

anyone thinking of this should look at this. its from JP magazine they put 35in tires on a 4 1/2 in lift so putting 33in tires should be the samething

didn't do too much to notice much ,just had a wee play to see how much rubbing i have, none on the front must try it with discos off..steering lock to lock is sweet as now .with the 31s and no off set use to rub bad as , now with -24 offset rims and trim no worries there anymore ...

James

Fabbing is all about that first step. The one where you say "I'm going to do it". One of the first steps is to take a welding class somewhere, like a community college. That is how I learned to weld. After you do that, we can give you some tips from there.

That's so small you could mount it so when your visor is up it's hidden. Glad to hear you have a civil defense group, that could be very handy.

If I had one that small, I wouldn't mind putting it in a roof console. No big deal with visibility there.
