thinking of an 8.8 from a ford exploder. What should i look for when i go to pickinpull? Are there any that are better than others like came with factory lockers or any thing like that? and what will i have to change to get one under my jeep

some of them had limited slips in them. Not as good as a locker, but much better than open in mud and snow

they came with 4.10 gears so you will have to regear the front if you don't have 4.10 already. and they are a spring under so you will have to cut off the perches and re weld them on the top and i would weld the tubes to center section or you will turn a tube. i hade a 8.8 on one of my jeeps and i loved it they come with disc brakes already on them and they come with the 4.10s i had a arb in mine and never had a problem.

well 1 set of gears is cheeper than 2 so not a bad thing i wanted 4.10's anyway,as for the brakes is there anything that needs to be changed or is it just plug and play

i found this. this will tell you about the brakes and you will need wheel spacers for it. this is for a tj but same thing just with leaf springs. hope this helps.
