wj axles in xj

just wondering bout how well wj axles will work in a xj. i know the rear has coils. mainly just worried about the front. it does not have anything from the knuckles out. would mine fit and work? i was told in another forum its wider. which doesnt bother me but will it bolt up or hat mods would it take. i can get the set of axles for twenty bucks. would it be worth it?

I have never made the measurements, but if it is wider you can just about be sure the brackets are wider and not bolt up.
