Third xjTalk free sticker give away! - HAS ENDED

Welcome to the third free xjtalk sticker give away.

Because of the high demand, and quantity of stickers on hand we are sadly limiting each individual to one (1) sticker.

The stickers were purchased from the very generous donations of a few xjtalk members, and moderators. If they have not donated we would not be able to give stickers out at this time.

A BIG THANK YOU to all that have donated!

Stickers are on order, so please take a moment to fill out this form to order your sticker.

You'll notice a choice of color for the stickers. We have 4 red, 4 yellow, and 4 silver stickers, the rest are white. The colored stickers are first come first serve. If you request a colored sticker and they are all gone to people ahead of you, you will receive a white sticker.

If you want more than one sticker, I am hopeful that next month we will have enough donations so that we can order another batch of stickers. As long as we can afford to order stickers (donations or I get a raise) we'll keep ordering them and giving them away until you can't see out your windshield! :shocker: :smiley-laughing021:

Due to their size, 6 inches, I have to get some larger envelopes. I will announce when they go out. It will be tight, but you may get them by Saturday if I get off my lazy dead a$$.

I've gone through and processed all the addresses. There are a couple of you that will be getting PM's for missing information.

We have a total of 39 requests, currently. If you want to get in on the first mailing get in now.

We had a large number of requests for RED and SILVER stickers. Just a reminder there are just a few of each of these colors, so it is FIRST REQUEST FIRST GET. If we run out of the color you requested we will send you a WHITE sticker.

Make sure this is acceptable. If you would rather wait until we order stickers again (could be a while) we can cancel you order.

I think we have enough RED stickers to meet all the requests. I do not believe the SILVER will make it to all that requested.

I went to wal-mart last night and got the envelopes, but they were out of ink. I'm working on the labels now. Hoping to get "at least some" of them out tomorrow.

As I mentioned in chat, I stuffed your sticker in a to small envelope and it was sent out Tuesday. You may see it today, or Thursday. Let me know if it made the trip okay, and if not we can meet up on Friday if you need a replacement sticker.

Ever since I saw a picture from Spanky that had a "DETOURS" sticker stuck on the backside of a US military fighting vehicle in Afghanistan (or Iraq) I was thinking how cool it would be to get a similar picture but with a xjtalk sticker instead.

Anyone have a friend/relative serving their country and protecting our freedom in one of the current theaters of war? Maybe with a camera and a love of Jeep Cherokees? :patriot:

Stickers have not gone out yet guys. I'm just one guy and my wife takes them to the post office to send out. I really don't want her doing this very often since there's always a chance she'll tell me to do it myself! :D

I like to wait to get enough orders together so she can send out a large group at once, plus have a little break between trips to the post office. I hope you understand.

I have to reformat all the addresses before I can print the labels, and naturally not everyone fills out their address information correctly so in the middle of reformatting I have to reformat those. I need a way to collect the addresses that keeps me from having to do all this manual work that way it would go much faster. I've just been busy with other stuff and when I start working on it something else seems to come up.

just work at the same place so it saves on postage and time.

there are several sign shops around the area, but I would need the actual logo in the proper file format to give to the sign place. I don't want to recreate the sticker because it would wind up looking a little different.

I try to give him large orders so it doesn't waste his time. At 100 stickers they were about $1.60 each. If you have a local resource I'd like to know about them, as I don't know when this guy may stop taking orders. Also I would like to look into hats, t-shirts, etc...

I called Signs Now on Jones Rd and they charge 1.36 for each sticker at 100. I'm not sure about the size of the stickers you have so I said 5 inch round and that is what she quoted.

First off I am very sorry for the VERY lengthy delay in getting to this point. As I have said I am a bad BAD man. It is important to me to get you these stickers. I am honored that you want to put them on your Jeep and that you took the time to fill out the request. It's just a PITA for me to convert your addresses from the forum to where I can print the address labels. I'll be working on a new screen that makes the process A LOT easier so we can get the stickers out faster to you.

I hope you understand.

Also I have been considering the 1 sticker per person rule. I think that it is only fair that those people that donated to the site so we could buy stickers have two stickers if they want two. I was going to do this secretly as I didn't want anyone to think that you MUST donate to this site. You do not. I prefer honesty over telling all the donors that get two stickers to lie or keep it to themselves though.

Now with that said DONORS may NOT get a 2nd sticker this shipping because I think we may have run out of stickers. We had 100 and I know we've sent out about 40, so we should have 60 left. I need to count them. We currently have 61 requests.

Reddragon has provided me with a local vendor that can make the stickers cheaper, so I may be getting a new batch soon. If you are a donor and would like a 2nd sticker send me a PM. I'm not sure what happened with the stickers, I suspect a break in and someone stole 4 stickers! :S Seriously I counted several times, so I had enough. I'll keep looking for them.

Well that was my fault then. I forgot about it. I don't have any problem with you having a sticker, my first goal is to get everyone at least one sticker. I pulled your name when I was going through and checking to see if I had already sent a sticker to someone.

The next batch of stickers I get I'm going to give all the people that donated 2 (or 1 more for a total of 2) first. Then I'll give out singles to all the new requests. Just remind me that your sticker went away with your old Jeep and I'll get two to you if you want more than 1.
