Could not justify spending the money on KC's again like my front two.

I like this rack alot more than I ever did my Surco. Especially the price. I will probably order some JCROFFROAD gutter mounts at some point. For now it is on there pretty good with the factory crossbars.

Steve where do you get cheapo's like that ? I want to try to put bigger tires to see how it feel and work, but don't want to spend a lot.... did you get $60 for each tire ?

I fixed my woobly column. Following this particular tutorial (http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/steering-colum-tear-down-repairs-39494/) to the letter, it was easy and instructive.
Only 2 concerns.... I could find only 2 bolts for the tilt, the rest were too hidden and my confidence was not that high) and 2, I must have put the thing back wrong since the wheel is not locking anymore.....

I scored all of this plus a good exhaust manifold, and a brand new 02 sensor in box, gutter mount roof rack crossbars, and some other odd parts for free, well almost free, had to walk about 300-400 feet in snow up to our knees to the jeep in buddies field and carry everything back out.

quick question to the masses: I've heard, in know starting off bad :D , That stainless steel brake lines will fray, deteriorate...etc, over time and will need to be replaced sooner than regular rubber hoses...

any truth to that?

Ive been running them as long as youve known me... they ar still rubber inside its just that the steel braid offers more strength to the lesser quality rubber inside... they are kinda like an innertube for a tire the rubber is thin and the tire is the shield

:D well on that sale I only made like $10 well I guess I got it for free since they sent me a new one. I sold a smaller roof rack to get this one. that is where I made some money..:D I traded a rear bumper that I made. it cost me about $10 bucks in wire and my time (I already had the metal) and $40 in cash. I sold it for $175 and I was only asking $150:stars:

Tightened the belt today.Started it up after making the belt adjustment&revved it up and heard a slight bearing roar.I traced it to the idler pulley bearing for the belt. That will be next on my list of things to do.:driving:

I did the same thing to mine a while back. Try backing off just a bit on the belt tension, the grinding goes away. Belts to tight. That Idler pulley if it is the fixed one under the A/C unit is very expensive. Its the hole bracket for the A/C unit to. Mine is a 95. No noise since from the idler pulley.

Put on a new hub bearing. Jeep did not like it. Wobbles worse now. I think the old loose one may have acted like a shock, absorbing some of the wobble so I didnt feel it as much.

So i did this last friday and yeah i have worse wobbles too.. Also noticed that my drag link is bent

Changed my exhaust manifold, downpipe/02 and center section of pipe to get rid of my exhaust leaks.

Snapped one of the studs off in the head for the manifold, spent most of the afternoon convincing it to come out.

Went over all my vacuum lines looking for leaks, cleaned throttle bottle/sensors, cleaned all the connections up under the hood wired up the relay for my OBA.

Sadly, my misfire and lack of power is still there. But while cleaning the connections, I noticed if you move the crank sensor wire, my engine tries to die.

Wayne, its not hard to do at all, just a pita, gotta remove everything above it to get it out, could probably get it from the bottom, but even then, your unbolting the intake anyway so its just as easy to pull from above.

Thats the second one I put on.

Today, I changed my crank sensor hoping it would solve my issues. No dice, its operating the same way, even moving the wire on that one changes the idle, starting to think it might be on computer side of that wire.

Changed lubricants and re zip tied up harness. Zip tying the harness as shown in pics can save you hundreds of dollars. At the points where the harness rubs on the fuel rail at firewall and where harness rest on the front of the fuel rail. If gone un check the sharp edges of the fuel rail will wear through the insulation oof wires and cause a short.http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z363/brian_mcdonald1/S4020305.jpg
