New to the Jeep world.. picked up 86 cherokee 2.8 4x4 5spd. Shes clean and fully tuned up. New tires, just needed a lil tlc. I have found the dreaded "fuse block rot" any suggestions on cleaning it up and sealing the firewall?? Also have a few loose vacuum hoses with no hood diagram to go by. (4x4 light comes on as it pleases) Doesnt like cold mornings..

Welcome from NorCal. You will find a vacuum diagram in Chiltons Manual. I have the hood diagram but it is for the CA model which I think is different. Sounds like your choke might not be working. It is electric and looks similar to all electric chokes. You can pick up some performance on your engine with Bosch +4 spark plugs. You will get an extra 1000 rpms on the top end and the horsepower to go with it.
