I hit the big 50 in October last year! :sad0147:

But act like a teenager! I listen to loud guitar based music, drink too much and party hard! Why act 50 if you don't feel it!!:cheerleader::cheerleader:

My wife is always telling me to act my age!! She is 36 and act a lot older! Maybe we are in the wrong bodies!!!

As rguignard already knows, because he asked me out at Spring Creek (:patriot:) and most of you know as well... I am 50. :sign0202:

When I turned 30 it bothered me. I didn't like it. When I turned 40, no big deal. 50? It bothered me in as much as I don't like being in my 50's. I think my mental image of 50 is someone that is old. Looks old, acts old, etc...

I don't drink, I don't smoke (never have). I don't chase women, except my wife. I try not to look at things that I can't do or shouldn't do because of my age. I do things because they are interesting or fun.

So age is just a thing to tell you how close you are to death. :rotfl2:

Well I am 32 and headed for 33 in March.

Turning 30 never even bothered me, in fact after I hit 21 I quit counting and now I have to really think about how old I am when someone asks :rotfl2:

Momma and Daddy sure are noit teachin' them right IMHO.

Sadly most kids don't have a father, or at least not a biological father. I think a lot of manners comes from your Dad. You're never quite sure if he will kill you or not. Mom's are great and in many ways more important that the Dads, but it really requires two people to raise a child. Especially a male child.

I blame the liberals. You know, no right, no wrong just shades of gray? Have sex, get the girl pregnant (too bad for her) and go about your business.

It's like I tell my kids. Either you learn it from me or life will teach you. Only difference is LIFE will put you down hard. :patriot:

I am really sorry to hear that. I can't imagine me choosing not to be with my child. I don't think I could have lived with myself if I gave up my child. Especially at that age. I don't know the situation so perhaps it was the only choice and best for you.

Well that gives you an excuse but is not a good reason for you to not have learned a set of manners on your own. The military will be a good instructor for some while life, as stated by Muddy, will also instruct you a bit harshly, but instruct you it will.
