Nice to know, but I always have at least one flashlight, For example at this moment I have a mini-Maglight in my pocket and a Surefire on my belt. Each vehicle has a 4D cell Maglight in passenger area and one in the trunk/cargo area too.
That little video is a McGyver to file away in the back of your mind. Thanks.

me too on the maglights. but it was cool but have you ever tried to split a pencil :confused:

Yes they are not easy to split without destroying the lead into pieces way too small to use in that fashion.

Let us know if it is practical. I use mechanical pencils and usually have extra leads but they are way thinner than a wooden pencil lead and may not last for more than a second.

Thought of another use for it. That would be starting a fire when matches or lighter were unavailable.
