how many miles has you xj seen?

so the more i see new jeeps the more miles they have on them vs older xjs.
so this is how it started for me. i got a 94 with 120k on it. then i got a 92 that had about 360k on it and when i got rid of it it was almost 400k still running strong. now i have a 88 that just rolled over to 157k

their is this guy on another site that is freaking out because his 2000 just rolled over 100k. their were some other people that were saying that they had 98,99,2000 ect and they had like 150-200k
it seems like the newer the jeep the more the miles it has on it. i don't know it they are better to drive so people are driving them more then the older ones. i was just wondering if it depends on the state that you live in on how much you drive of it that did not matter. you see in utah we have 4x4 so we can drive in the snow so we drive them every where. so lets see what you got give me. year were you are from and miles. thanks

Well.................my donor motor from a 92 XJ has 140,000 on it, and my 93 has 290,000 on everything else.

Mine is a 92 XJ with 218xxx,it sat for 2 yrs.without being driven and used about 1/2 a quart of oil in 1500 miles after being driven again.I'm in western Illinois.

sure it does it has four. the lights on the front help it see in the night. and the driver should have two eyes to help it get around. it can't move by it's self someone has to do it for it.

Its a 1987 but has under 50k ORIGINAL miles, its interior is still like new & a CD player with new speakers was recently put in. One owner. 4WD, excellent in the snow, mechanically sound, all parts/functions working!

1996 bought in October with 88k. Now has 94k and runs strong. I do have a drip from the oil filter area( like one drop a day but not always)that I have yet to determine the culprit of. I did an oil change last week but was cut short on time and didnt have a chance to look. I noticed the drop on my garage floor and a new one every couple of days.
I'm glad to hear that these jeeps go on forever though!

My XJ has 157k&it run's great.Pulled the pan after I bought it and the inside of the oil pan looked awesome!!!No sludge thanks to a good previous owner running synthetic!!!!!:thumbsup:

My current has 138K on it and runs great and my last one had 239K on it and ran good before I sold it. Both required regular service ie: hoses, radiator, pumps brakes and ect.
