Hey guys i found this website from NAXJA where im also a member. I am currently working a 96' XJ that goes by the name of whitey. Its an old state vechile that has been beat to death on the trails. The current suspension is 6" skyjacker front coils with daystar spacers,BDS front shocks, my own fab'd long arms done in typical radius arm fashion, the rear runs 4.5" BDS leaves whit daystar shackles,1 1/2" angled blocks and skyjacker shocks. It also has skyjacker braided brake lines. I run american racing baja 15x10 wheels and 33/14.50/15 boggers. Axles are 8.25 in the rear and typical high pinion in the front. I havent changed gears as I plan on an upgrade soon.

The other XJ's are both 99's that are amethest in color. One is a roll over and the other is a fire damaged. I am in the middle of swapping part from the roll over to the fire damaged XJ. The fire damaged XJ will become my daily driver that will see mild trails. It will sport a 3" lift and 265/75/16 tires of yet to be decided on already purchased rubicon wheels.

Thanks for joining. I'm sorry to hear two XJ's lost their lives, but it's great they are being organ donors! Keep us updated on your progress. We all love seeing builds and hearing about the gotchas before it happens to us. :D

Mudderoy..

None will lose there lifes..Whitey is still going strongeven though yesterday we junked the rear axle..we have a set of 79' ford axles in the shop waiting..It will still live on..Im gettingready for a complete body make over..and my plan has started on building a full tune chassis for it..but for now im going to cheap out and swap the ford axles into it and use(aahhhhh) fords radius arms for the front..I will lengthen them and use my already long arm cross memeber.

The fire jeep will be put back together with parts from the roll over jeep. It will be the daily driver on 3" lift..

The roll over jeep will get some big axles and a lot of racing junk thrown at it( like willwood mastercylinders fuel cell, etc, etc) and possibly some crazy fab work..

So All my XJ's will live on!! I too have a daughter and a dog!
Im trying to post pics but I have to upload pics to my photo bucket account then to hear so please bear with me..

lol, yeah I don't care for them either. They look cool. The designation is based on post count. You should be able to change that to anything you like though. Just poke around in the User CP (http://www.xjtalk.com/usercp.php) section.

Hey that's great news. BTW, we have a photobucket interface here. When you post something just scroll down below the post window and you'll see

"Display the upload form from Photobucket"

You can upload there and grab the link to paste into your post window. If the image has already been uploaded you can just grab the link. It's pretty cool. It does everything except copy and past the link into your post.

Yep, that's why we put the photobucket patch in. We don't allow a lot of pictures, or large pictures, to be stored on the board. With 500 members the storage would fill up pretty fast. Photobucket, or any image file sharing service of your choice is the preferred method of displaying your images here. Youtube for the videos because the videos appear as a playable window in your post.
