hi all, just had to tell someone,done my rear main seal today .frist time doing anything like this in side the engine..have swap my trans before but this was a little new to me...have come along way since i brought the old girl a couple of years ago, lucky if i could change the plugs back then..:smiley-scared002:gotta love forums like this...any way heres a couple of pics ...cheers ,the kiwi...

yep summer here, real nice out at the mo...see some of you are getting it ruff heaps of snow...off out to do both pinion seals now.. so thats front bearings done ,rear axle seals and bearings, new plugs ,air filter, oils, new rubber all round, aircon re gassed, and new exhaust...all ready for the xmas road trip... thats if i dont brake anything on thursday nights run ..will post pics of that ....cheers

Great job!!!

I just thought about doing mine today when i was replacing my Track Bar. I was thinking, i might not have to pull the motor out to get to it. Your pics proved it so!

just put new belt on , they are fun..and found out the front diff is a 30:oops: so off to the shop to get the right seal...:thumbsup:

all seals done, no more oil leaks on driveway..for how long who knows..:smiley-laughing021: have xmas eve 4wd run to night....i will be the only jeep but will post pics anyways...:camera: heres one from last years run.... http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr52/cantab27/Image029.jpg
