Ok theres my problem. Im sitting on a RE 4.5 inch coils up front(starting to sag.). I have had a set of RE 5.5 inch coils sitting in my garage for about 2 yrs now.:shocker: The time has come to install them. One Problem. I have RE 4.5 inch full leafs in the rear and originally had the RE extended shackles. I have replaced them with RC extended shackles which gave me a little more lift. Now If I install the Coils the jeep would look Baja out in the front. What I need from yall is a solution on what I should to to lift the rear. New springs are out of the Question. way too expensive.
I have toyed with the Idea of these.

You need to remember that while popular, extending the shackle and moving the back of the spring downward changes the geometry of the spring and will put too much of the weight on the back of the spring. Eventually the spring will loose its temper in the rear section and sag.

So you are putting 5.5" coils up front? Right now you have 4.5" leaf packs in the back with RC shackles? How much lift is back there? I would think 4.5" leaf springs + RC 2" shackle would be 6.5".

The largest RC leaf is 4.5" Their 6.5" lift kit is a 4.5" leaf and a 2" shackle. The shackle has two sets of holes. One set for 5.5" and the other for 6.5". I have mine set for 5.5" and my rig sits level (weight from bumper and tire I'm sure)

at first with the tittle i would say viagra. i would look for some chevy s10 springs or somthing like that they will give you what you are looking for. or tell you have the money to get a full leaf just get a block or get some shimes and make some new shackles.

Did your bolts fit in the 5.5" holes? I had their adjustable shackles but I could only use the bottom holes cuz the top holes were a hair too small for the bolts. I didn't understand that...

Well I ordered my 4.5" RC lift with AAL, which means it comes with shackles and bolts. Later I ordered the 4.5" RC leaf springs. So technically I have the 6.5" RC lift, leaf spring part only.
