There is a new kid on the block. The Yukon Zip Locker. It runs $100 less than the ARB and has the same features and operation. Check Randy's Ring and Pinion for availability.

Fits the following applications

Currently applications include:
Dana 30, 27 Spline, 3.73 and up
Dana 30, 30 Spline, 3.73 and up
Dana 35, 27 Spline, 3.54 and up
Dana 35, 30 Spline, 3.54 and up
Dana 44, 30 Spline, 3.92 and up
Toyota 8" 4 Cylinder and V6, 30 Spline
...And are well under $700

with only 100 dolar less, I prefer ARB. I used tha ARB air Loker and never have a problem... I'm not saying that I like to pay so much! its just what I prefer. :D

The $100 is the minimum less. Most of the prices run closer to $150

Of course since I already own my ARBs, I won't be getting either.

I have a 8.25 Chryco rear and they make no application go figure. Think I would prefer electric lockers anyway for a street driven Jeep. JMHO!!!

Why electric? Don't all the electric lockers have clutches that wear out over time?

I saw a video on youtube (produced by ARB) that shows the yukon breaking before the axle. Do you think this is ARB propaganda?

I checked this out before I bought an ARB for the D30. From what I read, the Zip locker is like the old design ARB. The first ones ARB made (RD30 ? I think) were re-designed (RD100)

Logic tells me there was a reason they changed the design, so I figured for the difference I'd stick with ARB's.
