I recently installed some adjustable shackles from Ironman4x4fab.com Beefy and well build as you would imagine.

I adjusted them as low as they would go, driver a little longer due to a driver's side lean.

Overall I achieved a 2.875" increase driver's and a 2.25" increase passenger.

Total height 34.25" and 34.00" as measured from the ground to the top of the rear bumper.

Maybe I need time to get used to not dragging a$$, but this seem a little to high in the rear now, not much maybe an inch, or inch and a half.

I'm would love to install the ACOS adjustable coil spring spacers, but at $275 I'm thinking about 1.75" coil spring spacers.

Anyone have any negative experience with either?

I could move the top of the adjustable shackle forward a hole to lower the rear a bit, but frankly I like the space and the ride is very nice on the highway.

If you are using a spacer between the mount and spring, either is good. I installed some spacers on a friends rig, former active member about 6 years ago. Still doing well

I love the idea of full adjustment, but not the price. I'll have to double check but I'm pretty sure these go on top of the coil. "Mount" means, to me, where the bottom of the coil goes.

Yes, the ACOS goes on top of the coil. They are generally considered a good deal and provide fine adjustment in front height

Okay double checked and in case anyone else reading this post isn't clear, both the spacers and the ACOS adjustable spacer go on top of the coil.

yes, they go on top.

I'll be installing a set of ACOS when I do shackle relo brackets. a buddy built me a set of shackles, I'll pick them up in Ark this wknd. they are a bit spendy, but easier to adjust than a spacer and keeps me from buying a set of coils.

I prefer to have the rear a tad higher than the front that way I can put people or gear in the back and not drag ass or as much, but I guess if you don't use your Jeep like that then sitting level is all the rage.

Like I said before I may just be used to it being slightly lower in the rear. I don't want to lift the front too much and get into that back and forth until it's a foot tall. I'm thinking 1" spacers up front as I would prefer to have it a little higher in the back as well.

I need to find a good place to measure front and back before I do anything more.

Okay measured at the axle to the crease in the body line. I have a 3" difference from front to back. A little higher in the back is fine, and normal I think. I'm still thinking 1" spacers for the front, maybe 1.5" only because their are more of those to select from.

Has your pinion angle changed?

I'm sure it did, but it must be in the 6 degree(?) window since there aren't any viber-ra-tions.

Must be. I have found that 4° is a more realistic window.

I'll have to check it and see
