first XJ, gonna make it last forever

Howdy-- just got a 96 Cherokee Country 4wd 4.0 about a month ago. I'd been looking for something easy to work on, capable, and not too big. I've had a lot of temporary vehicles before, but this is the one i take care of and make mine!

Working on the basics first (go-- engine, stop-- brakes, straight-- alignment) then the fun stuff. Needs a lift for sure, 2-3" im thinking.

Welcome to the forum. That is a very nice looking Jeep. I know what you mean about a keeper. I have had mine for seventeen years now and will keep it for at least that much longer. I started with that three inch lift and well .......... It kinda of went from there :D
