Hello, From Texas!

XJ Jeep Newb - not so new to 4-wheeling. Owned 4x4 since '87, just finally found myself to the dark side... ;)

Mostly stock, '89 XJ showing her age, but plenty of life left. Looking to clean up, using for local driving and hunting duty this fall.

Future plans:
Tan bed-liner coat the exterior; modest lights for off-road shenanigans; rear lights
Interior mods: headliner; f-ing cup holder; more AC outlets front and rear (gadgets and gizmos); headliner with overhead speakers from later model XJ.

Been there once I think. Was checking on property out in the open spaces. Decided not to after all. Sounds like you have solid plans for the Jeep. Cup holders are a must

Where I live in CA is pretty nice really. Acreage out in the country, almond orchards and horses all around me. By the way, a local person here pronounces almond like you pronounce salmon :D
