Hey rockauto!! Thanks for being a vendor and posting up your deals.

quick question: is there anything that can be done about shipping costs? Like ship to a business or longer shipping time frames? really like your website, easy to find parts that are getting harder to find for our rigs. last couple times I checked, shipping was almost as much as the part. Most online retailers have free shipping or much cheaper shipping. just curious if there's a box I need to check or something.

for example, today I'm looking for a replacement exhaust pipe. WALKER 55277 Front Pipe. the part is 45 bucks, no problem. with shipping, it's almost 70 to 75703.

any ideas?

Shipping is never free. Carriers must be paid for their work. Actual shipping costs vary widely depending on what you buy and where you are. "Free shipping" means higher prices to cover the average shipping cost and using profits from some orders to offset losses on others.

We think it makes more sense to set prices low and show what it really costs to deliver your order to you, passing on the cost and savings from decisions you make. To minimize shipping costs, choose parts that can ship from the same location.
