I had to finally say my 2000 xj has donated too many parts to my 1999 xj to be recoverable. So i have the brand new rebuilt engine ready to pull and go on craigslist along with putting the truck bed lined shell on craigslist. Long live the death star! Luckily A. I still have my 1999. B. My wife feels bad enough down the road she will chip in and help me pick up a new jeep. Im thinkin i might go with an older TJ with the 4.0....

You should do what you think is best, but if I could I'd hold on to that 4.0. They ain't making them anymore.
