View Full Version : Has anyone installed the eBay Chinese fender flares on their XJ?

Ordered a set for my 4 door. Just wondering if anyone has got these and what you had to mod to them. I already have cut fenders and cut and hammered in rears as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. Yea it was gettin cold out and with my COPD I didn't wanna chance getting hot and getting sick so more to come once it gets warmer lol

Good quality. Made outta same material as the snorkel from China. A hard plastic type material but does have some give to it.

Lil bit of an update. Got the rear driver side one installed today. And a added lil tib bit of info for anyone thinking of using these that has already trimmed yer fenders there will be modifications to be made to flares. They will need a lil cutting at bottoms to line up right. Basically yer preference as to how you want to mount and cut them.14406144071440814409

Well finished installing the fender flares. After getting XJ runnin found out I need to push back bottom of drivers side flare bout 3 inches( no biggie).1441814419144201442114422

If yer wanting the Bushwhacker flares but not wanting to pay the Bushwhacker price I recommend going with these. All total it shouldn't take but about 3-4 hours tops to install ( with having to trim and fit and repeat). :xj-white::bacondance:
