Went to the local pick n pull yesterday looking for parts for mort. Came across this beauty!

This 92 2 door Laredo is mint! It is by far the cleanest xj I have ever seen! 5 speed with factory sun roof, even the owners manual was in pristine condition!!!

I tried for about an hour to purchase it from them but they just would not budge and the only reason they could give me was that it was in the middle of the row and would be a lot of work. I explained that I work for AMA and could have 20 tow trucks there in an hour and we would drag it out, but still no.

So I liberated the doors! The drivers door is ok but rusted out under the moulding. But the passenger door is absolutely pristine!!!

There is not even a hint of rust on it! Does have a dent but that will buff out!

Steve you should have seen this xj, like I said, cleanest one I have ever seen! Only 140,000 kms on it, the inside looked new!

I cried a bit cutting the doors off it! [emoji26]

I know. Sometimes that happens. Makes me wonder sometimes. You should have seen it when they had the cash for clunkers down here. Lots of them in the yard with purposefully destroyed engines

Nope they are replacing the ones on mort now.
