Check engine light came on during my trip home today.
Left it running, pulled the OBDII adapter from the TJ, read the code. P0340.
Cam Position Sensor. Pretty sure I had a spare.
Stopped the engine, cleared the code. Tried restarting, wouldn't start.
Waited a few hours to let things cool down.

Look closely. The metal part that lets the Cam PS know the position isn't attached any longer.
I was able to turn it and put it back in the correct position and engine starts up. STRANGE! Pretty sure this is the factory original distributor. I bought a new one but the ear that you bolt down to the block broke off.
