So I finally got an XJ. I was so excited to find one I really liked with some mods already...however after spending a few days with her, I'm noticing the bad shape she's in. The guy who had it experimented with wiring his own stuff and made many mistakes that are now coming to light. Needless to say I am having to spend more on fixing the wiring disaster and delaying on addressing all the other mechanical issues. So that's why I have decided to research, learn, and participate in forums so that I can learn my way through Jeeps and hopefully save some money doing my own work. Any advice is welcome. You should know that I know almost nothing about the mechanical side of jeeps and I have no experience rebuilding and repairing.

Thank you all.

I will be posting pics as soon as I get the jeep back from the shop. Had to drop it off to an electrical auto mechanic to diagnose and correct a few electrical issues.

Pics coming soon!
