While looking for a 94+ bell housing,
I found a '92 xj with a nice lift on it.
Didn't have a tape measure, but guessing 6"-8"

Heavyweight adjustable control arms, quick connect sway bar links, full new leafs in back, drop bracket for the con rod...
Pretty much a complete lift kit.

...and now back to my part hunt

Sounds like a good find! I bet it has an SYE too with a lift that size. Could prob make a little bit of money selling those parts on Ebay if you have the time, money, and ambition.

I've been meaning to go there. I went a couple weeks ago, realized I didn't have my wallet and had to drive home to Cornelius empty handed.

Lame, but $900 seems like you would still be getting a pretty good deal. Take off all the good stuff, put on stock and flip it to make your money back.

I do believe a guy on another forum said he is buying it. He has big plans for it. But it has lots of things wrong with it, like messed up hack n tap and some other stuff

That Jeep is now gone. Went for $825. The guy plans to put parts off his current XJ into it and end up with an upgrade

I noticed there was no rear drive line.
The full lift and usable swap parts ... sell the rest as scrap = win

The 92 runs great after I swapped the fuel pump. The hack n tap just needs finished now I have the yoke and drill bits. All the door are removable and it did come with two other front seats out of something else which I will make work. Nothing a couple brackets won't fix.
First is of how I first seen it.
Second is after putting my 35x12.5s on it
And my old bumper to replace the stock one.
Lift is a new 6.5 rough country worth 825-899 if you had to buy one new.

Thanks, with buying it, putting it in my name, the IRO hack n tap yoke, drill bits and another set of rear tj flares. I'm in to it for 1200. Most around here for size of lift and tires and straight body go for 2500-4000. Plus I'm selling my old 89 when that happens ill be around 400 spent.

Should be able to button this up to be able to drive this weekend.
Finish k&n install
Electric fan install
Finish pump swap
Finish hack n tap
Install wiper motor and linkage
And install steering box brace
This is my must do list for the weekend then swap front seats if I have time.

Was able to drive it today. The rear feels like a brick the shackle angle needs to be fixed (great job rough country living up to the name lol). Besides that it has a wobble but have a feeling the 35s I put on need rebalance. Also its loud at the moment since it only had about 4" of exhaust after the cat. It does run good and has great power. One thing I haven't mentioned is this is a Canadian jeep so the temp gauge tops out at 125 Celsius and the oil pressure gauge stops at 5.4 bar. And for the spark plug gap on the firewall sticker is .09mm gap.

why said in my kiwi voice :D

Because the metric is so damn complicated, why does everything have to be in a super complicated base-10 format?!

Makes a lot more sense to have 12 inches in a foot, 5,280 feet in a mile, water boils at 212F, 16oz in a quart, 4 quarts in a gallon, and so on.

Waaaay too many 1's and 0's in metric conversions, gets me confused... :smiley-taunt002::rolleye0012::smiley-scared003:

Been looking at a few alignment measurements so I can check things out as well and control arm lengths since I didn't install them and what I found with the t-case output shaft I should just check.

I got a mid year raise at work so I got some goodies

Started swapping front seats. Not sure what the seats are out of they were in the back of the jeep when I bought it. They are out of something from 2003. I stopped right before getting the front mounts all the way figured out. Also I figured my wobble. My toe was off about an 1" front to back now deadish on since I have a np242. I got up to 60 something on a country back road and no wobble. Going to replace the tie rod and drag link tho since the show signs of wear and aren't tight anymore. Also from my research my upper control arm length is spot on at 15.5" but my lowers are short at 16.5" it should be 17.25". so ill be fixing that after the seat swap. In the second pic you can see my grand rear seat parts hanging in the back.
