Sorry to have to ask but could someone post a picture of the shift linkage bracket that bolts onto the transfer case (at least I think it does)? I have removed my tc for repairs and now I'm ready to put it back in but I did not take any pictures of the linkage underneath and I can't remember how it hooks up. This is for an NV231, thanks.

Here's a pic of mine. Let me know if u need a different angle. Since you have it off now is a good time to upgrade to one of those shifter cable kits.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170618/3b401fc7583d300bd0fc72b3a9def241.jpg

Thanks for the pic, I appreciate it. The bracket I'm talking about is kind of a triangle shape with two 90-degree tabs for mounting. Like I said, I think it bolts onto the transfer case but I can't seem to figure it out this weekend. Does yours have anything like that?
Regarding linkage kits, I've been looking at the one from boostwerks: http://www.boostwerksengineering.com/231-HD-Shift-Linkage-Manual-Trans-_p_29.html

Yea I have the bracket your talking about mounted to the transfer case. It's kinda high up there.

Yes that's the triangle shaped bracket I'm talking about, thanks. I'll see what I can figure out from your picture.

I ordered the Boostwerks (http://www.boostwerksengineering.com/) linkage kit and it works great. Easy to install too.

yup. glad you upgraded. the flimsy stock version doesn't last long if you're wheeling it
