Thanks. I am looking to 'upgrade' my 2000 Cherokee XJ base model. It has only a fuel, speedometer and warning lights, no gauges. I want to swap out the instrument panel or add gauges. I can't find how to change the mileage on a replacement panel. I don't know if I can simply cut out and add gauges. Also, is a 2000 OBD1 or OBD2?

2000is OBDII. I am not sure on the milage for the XJ. I know the new generation of clusters have their own chip and have to be reflashed to change milage. IIRC, the ECM still determines it on the OBDII XJ
