Wow nice work on the rockers! I can imagine thats what mine used to look like (or worse) before the sliders.....
Welcome! Any future plans for it?

I was really debating whether or not to just weld and integrate rock sliders into the unibody instead of just repairing the rockers but I was just using metal I had laying around. didn't feel like going and buying box steel and tubing. I'm thinking a low COG set up with 33s cut and rolled, flat flares and bump stopping the hell out of it. As soon as I get a little extra cash.
Thoughts?

Nah, just an angle grinder and a welder, and all the basic hand tools.

Sounds solid to me. Im at 4.5 on 33x12.5s, and the next thing i do will be the dirtbound tube fender flares with armor.

Welcome to xjtalk Will. I can relate to the rocker rust. Been dealing with it for months now! Good luck with the build. Post up your progress and let us know if you need help.
