Hi,

Thanks for the Welcome.

I'm Alex and I live in The Netherlands. I recently purchased a MY96 Cherokee XJ with the 4.0L 6Cil and 4 speed automatic. I found this forum via google and it looked like a nice place to gain some knowledge about XJ's.

Glad you are here Alex. What are your plans for your XJ?

Short term plans are mostly much needed maintenance orientated.
I already installed new pads+discs but found out the pistons are locked up in the calipers, so tomorrow i'll rebuild the calipers with new pistons/seals.
I also need to replace the light switch and plug since it melted due to bad connections (sparking). I'll probably add a relay to for the low+high beams.

Long term plans are a subtle 2" lift, 30x9.5x15 tires, lighting, whinch, bumpers and a rooftop tent because the misses wants to go camping.

Check out Jamdeeper's "my twin sons..." Thread. He made a really sweet camping rig.

Sounds like a solid plan! Post some pics when you get started! Heck, start a build thread to chronicle all your hard work if you want. Welcome!
