New to the forum. Just got my 2001 XJ sport in Sienna Pearl. Overall car is in good condition, with the exception of the body side moldings. Looking to replace them, not just remove them. Where is the cheapest place to buy them. Some of the prices on line to replace both sides totals over $400. Thanks for the help.

Let me know if you find a place, other than a junk yard. $400 is way to much, I'm thinking new ones shouldn't be more than $75

Agreed. On my previous XJ, I tried painting as some have suggested on the forum, but they eventually started chipping.

I've been watching ebay and crack's list... otherwise, the junkyard is about it if you don't want to drop $$$.

Rustoleum has that paint restoring wipe. ...guessing it's a chemical to break up the oxidization and add wax? Target has it for like $20. Might be worth a try.

Never used it, but something I saw and thought someone might be willing to and do a review (Jeep Talk Show?).

Probably won't help you Scott if you have already painted your molding, sorry.
