Is there anyone in the Tacoma, WA/ Fort Lewis area that could assist me with my jeep problems? I have everything hooked up, just seems like he she won't fire got some reason

Have you replaced the Crank Position sensor? Pretty common failure on the XJ, though not the only thing to cause a no spark issue.

How about the ignition coil?

91 will have distributor. I'd start there.

I tested the crank position sensor last night. Its good unless there is some other test I know nothing about.

Yes...I have a distributor. The engine came from a GC (that ran perfectly fine) BUT the engines are exactly the same but had different distributor types. When I got the "new" engine, I just replaced all gaskets, water pump, thermostat, timing chain, spark plug wires, cap and rotor.

Aaron, you have to match the distributor to the ECM you are using, otherwise it won't work
