Push Button start?

I want to add push button start to my jeep ( yes, I realize how easy it will be to steal and etc) I know how to wire the run/asc power switches and start button but Im wondering how to disable the steering lock and make it so I don't have to have the key in the run position to be use it.

You will have to take the steering column apart to do that. I believe you will have to pull the steering wheel also

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmnJ-Wq47HY Can I just cut the little surrounding circle part and pull the bar forward? when it comes forward the power and pump comes on (it wont after the switches are installed) but the steering lock also unlocks right before the power turns on.

I have never done this myself, but there is probably a rod from the brake pedal you will need to disable as well as the mechanism from the key cylinder
