The front pipe of the exhaust has a "L" snapped bar that slips into a rubber mount on the T-Case cross bar.

I can't find a part # or part name for it
All of the exhaust mounts go to the hanger style

Anyone know what this mount is called

I have never seen that part offered separately. It is always welded on anyway. Probably have to source one at a pick and pull

it's a rubber piece that sits in a little housing above the T-Case.
If I get a moment, I'll take a pic and post ~ else, after my header gets here... I'll take a pic while I do that swap and post it.

That piece you have to buy whole. The rubber part is in a housing that is riveted on the metal mount.

While digging I found what the part is called...

Front Support Bracket Insulator (#10)

9560

So the spot that goes into is permanently part of the T-Case support plate?
I want to raise that about an inch. I was hoping to be able to add washers and longer bolts.
So if it's riveted in place... I should be able to make some custom spacers

...fingers crossed

There is two types of those bleedin things, too.:bang:

They must be early and late. I went to use a trans mount from a '95 4.0 auto, in my '96 4.0 auto, and couldn't mount the exhaust!!
The '96 has a round mount, opposed to the earlier "smiley" shaped mount.

Dunno if this anomaly is just an Aussie thing???

I need to drop the smiley and go dot!

Mine was missing.

I cut a piece of 3/4" pipe and welded to a foot long 3/8" rod and bent the rod to fit and welded it up to the pipe. 3 years and holding. My pipe going thru the cross member is 2" from anything...no rattle.
