I know a lot of people are going to East beach in Galveston because of the crowd last year (2200 jeeps) I did not go last year (had to work) but heard it got pretty rowdy.

It's a lot of fun if you like large crowds and traffic. There's only 2 ways I can get to Chrystal Beach the Galveston ferry And I'll bet there's going to be over a 2 hour wait for that. Or run I10 to Winnie then drop down to the beach in High Island in my jeep that's a little over 2 hours and a bit too far to drive. So we are opting to go to East beach in Galveston only 45 min away and still see a lot of jeeps. Now if I did not already have plans for that Sat. night a friend of my wife and I has a beach house (right on the beach) we would have trailered the jeep there and stayed the whole weekend. You coming from Katy I 10 is your best bet to get there. Don't let me change your mind you got to go to at least 1 time. The scenery is fantastic (if you know what I mean) your wife my not ever let you go again.
