I left my jeep sit for 2 days. when I went to start it
... CLICK.... CLICK...CLICK...
My battery was dead. I jumped it with my NOCO genius boost. (Yes it still works)
After the battery was charged I did a load test. Battery tested good.
I then pulled out my harbor freight multi meter to do a amp draw test.
My #9 circuit for Radio/Clock & Memory, Courtesy Lights, Glove Box, Cargo,
Dome Lamps, Telltales. Was showing 79.4 milliamps.
so my questions are??

1. IS that too high of a draw? it seems it to me.( doors closed key out of ignition)

2. what the hell is a telltale?

I don't think that is too high. That is only .079 amps. But if you have a battery that is old or on its way out, that would be enough to kill it I suppose in two days.

Is a Telltail just slightly better than a Tattletale? :D

Thanks. Now that I think about it. My daughter vacuumed it out for me Tuesday. I'm sure she all 5 doors opened when she did it. Maybe long enough to drain the battery?

I guess i could let it sit for 2 more days to see if the problem reoccurs. But who has patience for that? There's a lot of mud around here.

How old is the battery?

It's about 3 1/2 to 4 years old.
It's started everyday since without a problem.

Well I had a chance to let the jeep sit for 2 days again. This time it fired right up without a problem. So I guess 79.4 milli amps is not too high.

Thanks for the input guys.
