2000 Jeep XJ 3 inch lift problem

Hey Guys this my first post and I need help. I just installed a Skyjacker 3 inch lift XJ and now i have a nasty vibration. Drive shaft angel looks ok but drive shaft has come out of the transfer case about an inch.Has anyone had this problem? Any help would be very appreciated.

This is a common problem on the late XJs. They just have vibration problems when lifted. You can try a transfer case drop, but really the best solution is to use a Slip Yoke Eliminator. They start at $80 and go up from there depending on how much you want to spend. The problem is that the drive shaft is far enough out that it wobbles on the splines

Thanks for the feedback. Just ordered a transfer case drop kit going to try that first. Where is the best place to get a Slip Yoke Eliminator from?

Welcome to the club lol. Mine had the same issue after my 4". My t-case drop made it almost completely go away, but I will be ordering the hack n tap from IRO here shortly to completely eliminate it.

I have about a 3 1/2" lift. Did the Transfer case drop at the same time as the lift and never had any vibration issues. Biggest issue was with the transfer case linkage but that was not difficult to resolve.

Update! Installed transfer case drop kit and vibration is gone. no problems with transfer case linkage. Waiting for long travel yoke to get here then I will change u-joints and yoke.
