Hey everyone I picked up this cherokee about 3 months ago it was running fine, until one morning i stopped by the store before work and left it idling outside because it was cold out. I came back out side and it wasnt running, figured on of my buddies saw me and shut it off to be funny, Hoped in and it started up fine, ran for about 45 seconds and died again.. then it wouldn't start at all. :bang: got towed back to my parking lot and replaced, cap and rotar, plugs, plug wires fuel filter, air filter, attempted to clean the injectors but didnt end up having time so i put them back in carefully, and buttoned eveything up. as of now my next plan of action is to replace the fuel injectors. i can get it to start sometimes but it runs like crap and only for a couple seconds before it dies. any advice is greatly appreciated. Its a 89 cherokee laredo with 190k miles 4.0. heres a video of how it runs..

Still run rough if you give it gas? Sounds like it's missing on a couple of cylinders, but I guess it could just be a really low idle.
TPS on IAC can cause idle issues.

there really is no difference when pushing the peddle or not. if i press it all the way to the floor it maybe keeps running for a couple seconds longer

Crank position sensor??? If you haven't changed it wouldn't hurt to get a new one anyway.

Did you get a dealer replacement? Ive heard of the aftermarket ones going bad after a month or so.

Could also be the cam position sensor in the distributor. The way that sounds, you might want to pull the coil wire and let it spark against a ground and see if it sparks consistently. If not I would replace it
