My sweet green 01 XJ was exhibiting alternator difficulties, batt gauge drops to 9 ,windows and wipers sluggish, no lights after a bit,, She kept on running, till we got home. Okay off to advance auto, pop in a new one, and now , she blows cold air! Heat was never an issue . Go figure She now has 305665 miles and shes trying to tell me something:patriot:

Yeah this sounds like two different problems that either wasn't noticed until there was a problem, or occurred at the same time of the alternator issue.

Keep us up to date to the fix though.

yes Thanks again, bad alt and new radiator. She is fine now,my mechanic replace a "soft plug" also. Keep er rolling:xj-yellow:

just realized for the last 15 years Ive had 2 XJs and I don't want any other flavor of motor vehicle. I don't like any new car truck or SUV. I cant even test drive one. Im gonna grab a lower mileage XJ 99-01 if I can.:patriot:
