I went to see a Urologist in early December 2015. Useless toolbox and plumbing problems..😐

Thoughts on that one, are too many drugs in my system, from other ailments? Possibly. .

Anyhow, a flexible cystoscopy was ordered, then at the last minute, just before I walked out the door, she says " We might order an USound too, to check anatomy of the bladder. "

Radiologist was nearly finished when he said he found something on my right rkydney, a "fatty nodule".

"Looks like a fatty nodule, don't worry. But the dr will probably want a CT scan done, just to clarify.

NEXT BL00DY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ordered a renal contrast catscan for the following Monday.
Relieved a call Tuesday, appointment Wednesday 0830.
Told Wednesday not fatty nodule. But a tumor. Malignant or benign unknown, 4.3cm in size. Nestled nicely amongst the vessels.
Option of partial or radical nephrectomy. Blah blah blah. ...... oh look at the pretty birdy out the window. ..😓
Ordered a contrast ct for my chest for that following Friday. Clear. 😊


Another appointment to give my choice of partial /full nephrectomy, I chose full (radical ) and hospital malarkey, then next thing ya know, 2nd February 2016 and I'm trading in a slightly used kydney for a longer life.

BEST DAMNED TRADE I EVER MADE. ....

I think I may have some nerve damage?? I'll question the surgeon when I see her again.
All the skin between my naval and main wound is numb and tingly. My right nut us permanently sore and so is the top of my right thigh and crotch. Like severe chafe.
Otherwise, no complaints. I can sit up most of the day now. Woo hoo. [emoji16] [emoji16]

Could be your stitches were pulled a bit tight, you might have to wait for that right nut to drop all over again.:D
