Since i will be replacing my ujoints during transmission swap i am curious of recomendations. I will be lifting jeep with the 3 inch rubicon express budget lift. Which brand u joints would you guys recomend for a jeep with a lift kit?

Do it right, don't do it twice. If you can afford Spicer u-joints do it. Most of the time stores will have their in store brand and a premium brand. At the very least use the premium brand but Spicer's are the best.

Saw them at oreillys for 21 bucks a pop. Spicer it will be. Anyone have any tips on how to make sure the used transmission i buy is good? The remanned is a little out of my league pricewise. Seems like the used ones all come with like 90 day warranty.

Check for a burnt oil smell. If it has it, send it back

I will check it before i buy it!! Anything i should replace on the replacement transmission before i put it on my jeep??

You might make sure there is a new filter in the pan area. Check the bottom of the pan too for filings and general crud

Ordered my spicer ujoints today. The autoparts store showed all 5 to be 5153x i believe for the spicer part number. Does that sound right to all of you gentleman.
