So I have decided to upgrade my poor old 99 Honda Accord with 300k for something newer. So after numerous days on CL searching, I finally found a car the wife accepted and i can deal with at a "ok Price" So here starts the build/repair on my new DD. The car was caught in a flood and salvaged out and sold. Some poor sucker bought the car thinking he fix and it was over his head and sold it to me for a major loss. All I knew at the time is it had a high end knock and the 3.3v6 has issues with timing chain/supporting parts.
So here is my new "tow truck" and the Sonata

So after looking the car over searching for signs of moisture inside the car or even a water line i was having doubts it was a flood car. So i dove into the motor and wanted to have a look at the timing chain. I found this..... both chains show no signs of wear.....

So time to drop the pan and the fun starts

Yup it hydro-locked and broke #2 rod/piston and that was the noise i heard.
So here comes to the build part. The car has almost 0 info online on yanking a engine and reinstall. So I decided to make a build on this process. So after family comes to town you will see some major engine swapping going on. (entire engine cradle come out the bottom on this car)
