Been a long time since I've owned a jeep. Last one was a 77 SJ. But that was nearly 30 years ago! Owned a 51 CJ3A w/ 289, 57 wagon w/ 351, 70 Commando and a 78 CJ. Just picked up this 96 4Dr XJ w/ 4.0, 5 spd. Manual windows/ seat/ etc. but does have AC. Great shape, everything works and NO RUST! Has 200K miles but runs great. PO had replaced brake lines/ pads, serpentine belt, new clutch and many other items and was garage kept and never off road. I had no problem at all giving $2500 for it. My Dad had a couple XJ's and I always liked them. I'd say it's 98% stock and plan on keeping it that way.

Given this comment " Yep. 77 KZ1000. Lowered. Stretched. Loud!...." I suspect you will looking to modify the XJ more sooner than later. :keegirl:
