Welcome to the site! That's a good looking two-door you have there. Did you buy it with the petrol-engine swap or do that yourself? 4.0L?

Thanks guys, I'm from south Africa, Pretoria and pietersburg. I bought the xj with the petrol conversion it's a Ford 3.0 l v6 Essex motor 155hp engine, it gets the job done and the gas milage ain't bad also, but I see a v8 in its future, lexus 1uz motor, 2 reasons it's light and cheap Haha, a few guys this side is running them and reports fuel consumption of being between 22-26 mpg depending how you drive and it gives you that nice hemi sound when you heavy on the loud pedal.

Oh and in south Africa a 2 door is a rarity, there's about 7 in the whole country

cantab , I agree always good fun to watch , unfortunately the politics have taken over south african rugby , it would be a miracle if it will be the same again , think the best way to describe the type of wheeling is a mixture between you guys and aus , with a good mix of overlanding

doesn't look that bad I'm sure it will be worth while at least to investigate the possibility to do something with it

Thanks auto, let me tell you you don't want a diesel jeep look the torque is awesome and the fuel economy but you don't want that shit in your life, I had a liberty diesel had nothing but shit with it. Here you get the jk wrangler cherokee and grand cherokee in diesel, but it's not worth to get a diesel jeep
