Swappin exhausts

A 2000 muffler and pipe will fit onto a 99 right? I think it should. My wifes 99 needs a new muffler, I was going to put a new Dynomax on it. Although, I have to drop the 2000 XJ exhaust while I replace my transmission which will take a while. Soooo, I was thinking why not put my XJ muffler on her XJ then I can put the new Dynomax on my XJ in spring when I am done with transmission. That is not too much of a dick husband move is it? I mean my exhaust on the 2000 is fine......

It all depends on how you phrase it. Use key words and phrases like "saves us money", "cheaper", "donate", "generous", "makes sense", and "recycle"

I would add: "I need to put the good exhaust on yours to keep yours running well. I'll get to mine later on down the road, but your's must be good and reliable. I know the exhaust from the 2000 is trustworthy."
