All things being relative, Joliet isn't that far from Aurora. Joliet Johnny is from Joliet. I believe the member that has the Avatar of the mad typist, Sorry can't recall his forum handle off hand, is also from the area.

I don't know how likely to volunteer anyone would be to inspect a vehicle for someone else. Seems like a can of worms, if things don't go as expected. At least to me.

Im on a boat forum and its pretty common over there. I've seen members go look at a boat and post up pics and details for another member. Talk to the seller, haggle on price and get an overall feel for the rig before someone drives hours only to realize the boat was misrepresented in the ad. common and simple concept.
